Ortho® Home Defense® Insect Killer for Indoor & Perimeter2 kills common household bugs such as ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, fleas, flies, millipedes, mosquitoes, moths, spiders, stink bugs, ticks, termites, periodical cicadas and more (as listed). This insect killer creates a bug barrier for up to 12 months protection against ants, roaches and spiders indoors on non-porous surfaces. In addition, the Invisi-Shield Technology formula gives off no fumes, dries clear and dries fast. Use this pest control product anytime as a preventative treatment or after you see evidence of insect activity for long lasting-control. Apply indoors in kitchens and bathrooms or around doors and windows, and outdoors to the foundation perimeters, patios, decks, garages and wherever insects are a recurring problem. For indoor surfaces, hold sprayer 12 inches from surface being sprayed and apply a 4-inch wide band, or use a 12-inch wide band when applying to a home perimeter. STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Remove the sprayer from the bottle by pulling the sprayer up. Unwrap the hose and insert the hose connector into spout on bottle cap. Twist knob to "ON." Shake well. Turn sprayer nozzle to desired spray and location setting. Squeeze trigger repeatedly to spray.
  • For indoor surfaces, hold sprayer 12-inches from the surface being sprayed and apply a 4-inch wide band along the surfaces being treated. Area should be sprayed until slightly wet without soaking.
  • For outdoor perimeter treatment, hold sprayer 12-inches from the surface being sprayed and apply a 12-inch wide band along the surfaces being treated. The area being treated should be sprayed until slightly wet without soaking.
  • For treating a pet's resting quarters, spot treat infested areas and localized areas of the floor/floor coverings (rugs, carpets, tile, vinyl, and wood) where pests may be present.
  • When finished spraying, turn sprayer nozzle to "OFF." Do NOT disconnect hose connector from the cap. Place sprayer back into the holster.

WHEN AND WHERE TO USE

Where Not to Use

  • Do not spray into the air.
  • Do not spray into fish pools, pods, streams, or lakes
  • Do not apply directly to sewers or storm drains, or to any area like a drain or gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur.

  • Applications should not be made in the rain or when rain is expected within 4 hours.
